Ro
Ro is never hurried—and never because he is slow.
While others rush to solve a problem, Ro prefers to watch a moment longer. He listens before speaking, thinks before acting, and rarely allows fear to choose his next step. When Ro enters a room, the air itself seems to settle.
Ro is a member of the Sapphire Council and the Keeper of Stillness.
He journeyed to Lofoten from his home in Helgeland after being called by the Sapphire Light. His voice is smooth as a calm lake, steady enough to quiet even the loudest worries. When storms rise around him, Ro remains exactly where he is—not because he ignores danger, but because he understands that panic rarely improves a situation.
Stillness, Ro believes, is not the absence of action. It is the ability to remain calm long enough to see clearly. When fear clouds judgment or uncertainty makes the path ahead difficult to find, Ro teaches that the first step is not movement—it is stillness.
It is Ro who teaches Finn that calmness is a skill, not an accident. Only when Finn learns to steady his thoughts can he begin to find his way through the challenges before him.
Though quiet by nature, Ro's influence reaches far beyond his words. He reminds others that courage does not always look like charging forward. Sometimes it looks like standing still long enough to understand where you are.
If fear begins to speak louder than reason...
If the waters grow rough and the way forward disappears...
If a calm voice helps reveal the path that was there all along...
That will be Ro.
