Tiril

Tiril rarely speaks—and never needs to.

She moves quietly through the forest and hearth alike, her lantern casting a soft glow wherever she goes. When Tiril arrives, the shadows seem less certain of themselves. When her light settles, even the longest night feels a little shorter.

Tiril is a member of the Ruby Council and the Keeper of Light.

She does not teach through words. She listens. And somehow, in the stillness of her presence, thoughts become clearer. Worries grow smaller. The path forward begins to reveal itself.

Light, Tiril believes, is not something to force into the world. It is something to tend—patiently, gently, and with faith that it will grow stronger when it is needed most.

When Anne first meets her, it is not through conversation but through quiet understanding. Tiril shows her that even when the road ahead feels heavy, hope is never truly gone. It only waits for someone willing to carry the lantern a little farther.

Though she doesn’t speak, the light she carries says enough.

If a dark moment softens…
If courage returns after doubt…
If a small light appears where none seemed possible…

That will be Tiril.
