Tovi

Tovi's voice is soft enough that others sometimes lean closer without realizing it. He never minds. He believes kindness should never have to compete to be heard.

Tovi is a member of the Amethyst Council and the Keeper of Gentleness. Patient and welcoming, he knows that every heart opens in its own time. Whether offering a warm smile, a helping hand, or yet another cup of cheese coffee, Tovi never expects anyone to accept his kindness immediately. He simply offers it again tomorrow.

When Mette arrives in camp, uncertain and determined to keep her distance, Tovi greets her each morning with the same cheerful invitation to share a cup of coffee. She politely refuses every time. He never seems disappointed. Instead, he smiles, pours another cup for himself, and quietly trusts that, one day, she will be ready.

Gentleness, Tovi believes, is never weakness. It is the quiet strength that allows trust to grow without force and friendship to blossom without expectation. Just as a frightened reindeer cannot be rushed into your arms, neither can another person's heart.

If patience calms a fearful soul...
If kindness speaks louder than demands...
If someone finally says "yes" because they never felt pressured to say it...
